This MTSAT Heavy Duty Satellite Dish Antenna Cover is designed for DISH Network's original DISH 500 dish antenna. If you have DISH Network Satellite Television service, and your dish antenna has head with 2 integrated LNB's in it, and the dish face measure's approx. 22.5" tall x 20" wide, then this is probably the cover for you! This cover is designed from a heavy duty PVC coated vinyl material that resists snow and ice buildup as well as rain-fade and rotting.  The part number for this model is now CVR-DSH500, which is replacing CVR-DSH523.

This is our most popular cover since this is Dish Networks' most popular dish antenna.  If you have any doubts, please measure your dish before ordering, as some DISH 500 antennas were actually 20" round antennas, which we do have a cover for, but it's listed as our DISH 300 model.

Also... please note that this model... CVR-DSH500 is replacing our CVR-DSH523 model that we offered.  We are replacing this due to the confusion that often occurs when our customers ask for a cover for their DISH 500 dish and not for their Dish 523 dish!  We originally offered a CVR-DSH520, which was the 20" round model, and the CVR-DSH523, which is the most popular 23" model, now known as simply CVR-DSH500. Did you get all of that ?  Sorry for the confusion!

MTSAT Heavy Duty Satellite Dish Covers slip over the face of the dish and tighten in the back by use of a commercial grade parachute cord that resists shredding and rotting. Although usually not necessary, the cover can be re-tightened from time to time by simply loosening the cord and re-tightening.

Why don't our covers cover the arm and LNB ?  In all of our tests, keeping snow and ice from collecting on the face of the dish was the most important issue.  Also... covers that cover the entire dish often act as nothing more than a windsock or a shelf for snow and ice to build up on.

Our covers will work well in most areas, but in SOME cases and SOME climates, a cover just may not do the job!  For that reason... we offer a 6 month satisfaction guarantee on our covers.   If you are not completely satisfied, you may return your cover for refund or credit towards one of our satellite dish heaters or heating systems.  Satellite Dish Heaters will almost always work to keep snow and ice from collecting on your dish when and where a cover just can't handle to job.
