HOT SHOT Satellite Dish Antenna Heating De-ice, Anti-ice systems have been on the market a long time, and are the preferred satellite dish heater or professional satellite dish installers as they will work on metal and composite satellite dish systems. HOT SHOT Heaters are powered by a 24 volt DC transformer, and therefore, the dish element(s) can be powered over an included low voltage cord or just over a spare coaxial cable run to the dish. HOT SHOT makes optional dish arm and feed horn heating elements as well, that can be tied into the same power supply to provide complete protection from snow and ice buildup.
