This diplexer has a variety of uses, but it's typically used with DISH Network and DirecTV Satellite Television sytems where only one cable run is available, to send satellite programming "back out" to other televisions in other rooms using the same cable.

This diplexer is DISH Network approved two diplexers are typically required... one to merge the signal and one to separate it again on the "other" end.
