DISH Network offers qualifying new customers free equipment and free "standard" installation for up to four rooms in your home, free DVR and / or High Definition equipment upgrades and more, and if and when you have to pay the $49.95 setup fee, you get that back in a discount coupon to use for $49.95 off of your first month's bill, making it Free to get started in DISH Network. "Upgrade" fees may also apply depending upon the equipment you choose. An 18 month to 24 month commitment to service is required and some conditions apply. You must provide a credit / debit card and Soc. Sec. Number to apply and qualify for any DISH Network Promotions.
The current DISH Network satellite dish is called the DISH 1000.2, which requires a nice, clear line of site to the south, as it receives programming from 3 satellites (110, 119, and 129). It faces approx. 165 degrees from our local service areas at an elevation of approx. 34 degrees. It requires a clear line of site from approx. 158 degrees thru 175 degrees for proper operation.
